Zuni Housing Authority Inspiring Documentary
"More than building homes; building a sustainable community"
Directed by: Nicholas Nelson
August 2016
The 13-minute documentary highlights some of the many accomplishments of the Zuni Housing Authority. With 13 different sources of funding from four agencies, including HUD, the Zuni Housing Authority successfully manages $15.4 million dollars annually. The video features several homeowners and the hard-working members of the housing authority's force account construction crew. Located in the remote and beautiful area of Zuni, New Mexico the homes take full advantage of the areas natural resources and views. Employment at the Zuni Housing Authority has provided the resources for many tribal members to stay in Zuni, taking pride in how they contribute to the well-being of their community.
